‘Got offer letter next day’ – How a quick hiring process benefits companies and candidates

While hiring can sometimes be a lengthy process, a fast hiring approach helps companies attract top talent and build trust from day one.

Imthiaz Hamsath, Head of Marketplaces at Cureskin, recently shared his experience on LinkedIn, highlighting the importance of a fast and transparent hiring process. His post emphasised how efficiency in recruitment reflects clarity of thought and confidence in decision-making.

Hamsath recounted how he received his offer letter just a day after his interview—a rare and unexpected occurrence, especially for a leadership role. While discussing the offer, the HR team explained that the founder was certain about his fit and wanted to extend an offer without delay.

“I got the offer letter next day after the interview. It surprised me to get the offer letter the very next day, especially because this was a leadership role. While negotiating the offer, HR mentioned that the founder saw all the qualities he was looking for and asked to make an urgent offer,” read Hamsath’s post on LinkedIn.

This experience stood in stark contrast to the drawn-out hiring processes in many organizations, where candidates are put through 5-6 interview rounds before a decision is made.

Why a quick hiring process matters

According to Hamsath, many companies unnecessarily complicate the interview process, often looking for reasons to reject candidates rather than making efficient hiring decisions. He pointed out that if a company is clear about what they need in a candidate, they don’t have to interview hundreds of people or conduct multiple rounds to arrive at a decision.
